What is a Doula? A woman who provides continous (emotional, physical and informational) support to the expectant family ~ before, during and after the birth of their baby.
The use of a doula has been shown to have the following amazing results:
~ 40% reduction in use of pain medications
~ 50% reduction in c/sections
~ 57% reduction in forcep delivery
~ a significant reduction in labour time
